Born in Hungary with roots in France, Canada, and Israel, Tom Hidvégi’s life has been a journey across cultures and artistic mediums. Having lived and studied from Mexico to Shanghai, Tokyo, and beyond, Tom's creative spirit has always been intertwined with the global influences he has experienced.
Before turning to perfumery, he made a name for himself in the world of advertising, crafting global campaigns and designing iconic labels for world-renowned brands. A true artist at heart, Tom’s passion for perfumery started humbly in his kitchen, creating homemade cosmetics. However, a deeper calling struck him before turning 50, pushing him to embrace perfumery as his mission. His journey led him to complete formal training in fragrance in Florence and an apprenticeship in Paris.

With the unwavering support of his husband Omer, his brother Peter, and his Parents, along with the collaboration of his trusted partners Mate and Bence at luxury soap manufacturer Zador, Brodēon came to life. Their collective belief in his creative vision transformed the brand into a reality—combining artistry, craftsmanship, and a passion for storytelling through scent.
